Summer Mock-tails to Cocktails for the Entire Family

Nothing like a colorful cocktail under the sun! Think beach, pool, or lounging on the porch and save time by making one drink for the whole family. Then go for the cheat option, and transform the drink into a special cocktail for the “older kids.”

Sunrise Summer Mock-Tail / Cocktail

Ingredients:
1. ½ or 3 ounces of no pulp orange juice
2. ½ or 3 ounces of white grape juice
3. 1 small package of frozen blueberries
4. 4 – 8 chopped strawberries
5. 8 pieces of chopped pineapple
6. Lime Juice
7. Mint

Instructions:
1. Cut up the strawberries and pineapple into small pieces.
2. Place the pineapple, strawberries and blueberries into a shaker.
3. Add three ounces or a third of white grapefruit juice.
4. Fill up to 2/3 with the no pulp orange juice
5. Finish off with the chardonnay.
6. Put a spritz of lime juice in.
7. Shake, shake, and shake.
8. Pour the drink into your favorite glasses and garnish with the mint and leftover blueberries.
9. Enjoy!
Serves 4 people. For adults, add 3 ounces of chardonnay.

Old Glory Spritzer

Ingredients:
1. One can of San Pellegrino Grapefruit Seltzer or one can of lime seltzer
2. One can of ginger soda
3. Fresh strawberries
4. Fresh blueberries

Instructions:
1. Slice the desired amount of strawberries in half and place on bottom of glass.
2. Place the desired amount of blueberries in the bottom of the glass.
3. Fill half with the ginger soda.
4. Finish off with the grapefruit seltzer.
5. Cheers!

Serves two people. For adults, sneak in that extra splash of your favorite clear alcohol such as vodka or white rum.

Athlete’s Delight

Ingredients:
1. 3 ounces of cranberry juice
2. 3 ounces of blue sports drink Gatorade
3. 3 ounces of sugar-free 7-Up or 3 ounces of Sprite
4. Enough ice cubes to the fill the entire glass up

Directions:
1. Put enough ice cubes to fill the lower bottom third of the glass.
2. Pour the cranberry juice in to fill a third of the glass.
3. Put a few more ice cubes in and fill the next third with the Gatorade until 2/3 full.
4. Fill the rest of the glass with ice and top it off with either the 7-Up or the Sprite.
5. Enjoy!

Serves 4 people. For the adults, replace the 7-up or Sprite with Prosecco instead.
