On Sunday night, the Zac Brown Band wrapped up a three-show series at Fenway Park and surprised the sellout crowd with a special guest: Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler.

The Allston-raised rocker led the band through a rendition of Aerosmith’s classic ‘Sweet Emotion’ and a spirited version of ‘Walk This Way.’

The crowd also made the atmosphere livelier as chants of “free Tom Brady” frequently rang through the ballpark. The band played off the crowd’s pro-Boston sports emotion by playing a cover of ‘Sweet Caroline,’ the famous Neil Diamond anthem that became a staple at Fenway Park once the Red Sox began playing it at every game prior to the bottom of the eighth inning.

The Zac Brown Band was the first act in Fenway Park’s brief history as a music venue to play a three-show series. The band’s Jekyll + Hyde tour now moves on to Washington, D.C.
