With the cold weather looming, it is finally time to snuggle up with your favorite blanket and a nice hot beverage. Instead of braving the chilly temperatures this weekend, why not stay at home for brunch with these coffee-based cocktails? Here are three easy-to-make seasonal drinks that are perfect for weekend guests or an afternoon outdoors enjoying the fall foliage.

 Iced Baileys Chocolate Chip Cocktail
One serving

Ingredients:

1. 1 shot of Baileys Irish Cream
2. ½ shot of your favorite whiskey
3. Whole milk
4. Iced brewed coffee of your choice
5. Chocolate chips
6. Marshmallows or whipped cream (optional)
7. Ice cubes

Directions:

1. Place ice cubes in the glass in which the drink will be served.
2. Add ½ shot of whiskey to each glass.
3. Add a shot of Baileys to each glass.
4. Fill each glass ¾ full with iced brewed coffee.
5. Fill the remainder of each glass with whole milk.
6. Stir the ingredients until well blended.
7. Top with either a few marshmallows or whipped cream.
8. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Hazelnut Almond Coffee Concoction
One serving

Ingredients:

1. 1 shot of vodka
2. A teaspoon of brown sugar (to taste)
3. Splash of hazelnut syrup
4. Almond milk
5. Hot brewed coffee of your choice
6. Whipped cream
7. Chocolate coconut shavings

Directions:

1. Add a shot of vodka to the bottom of the mug in which the beverage will be served.
2. Add a splash of hazelnut syrup.
3. Add a teaspoon of brown sugar.
4. Add hot coffee until the mug is ¾ full.
5. Add almond milk and fill to the top.
6. Stir the ingredients together until the brown sugar is dissolved.
7. Top of the drink with your choice of whipped cream or marshmallows.
8. Sprinkle chocolate coconut shavings for garnish.

Amaretto Maple Coffee Cocktail
One serving

Ingredients:

1. 1 shot of Amaretto
2. ½ shot of vodka
3. 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
4. 1 teaspoon of honey (to taste)
5. 1 teaspoon of maple syrup (to taste)
6. Hot brewed coffee of your choice
7. ½ teaspoon grapefruit zest
8. Slice of grapefruit for garnish

Directions:

1. Place one shot of Amaretto at the bottom of the glass in which the drink will be served.
2. Add ½ shot of vodka.
3. Add a teaspoon each of honey and maple syrup (to taste).
4. Add a teaspoon of brown sugar (to taste).
5. Add ½ teaspoon grapefruit zest.
6. Fill glass to the top with hot brewed coffee.
7. Mix all the ingredients until the brown sugar is dissolved.
8. Add a slice of grapefruit for garnish.
