BOSTON — It’s now legal in Massachusetts to be at least one toke over the line.

Voters on Tuesday overwhelmingly backed a ballot question that sought to regulate marijuana in the same way as alcohol, meaning that the Bay State is now the first state on the East Coast to adopt such a measure.

Said pro-marijuana advocate Jim Borghesani amid the banjo strains of Mumford & Sons at an election night party in Boston , “our job now is to make sure this law gets regulated on time.”
