President-elect Donald Trump said he is fine with the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize gay marriage during an interview on CBS’s “60 Minutes” Sunday.

In his first TV interview since being elected, the billionaire said he’s comfortable with the high court’s decision despite it conflicting with his party’s platform.

“It’s law. It was settled in the Supreme Court,” Trump said. “It’s done  … These cases have gone to the Supreme Court. They’ve been settled, and I’m fine with that.”

The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision in June 2015 that same-sex marriages were a constitutional right.

Trump has reached out to the LGBTQ community during the course of the election, having mentioned the topic in his speech at the Republican National Convention.

“As your President, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology, believe me,” he said while accepting the nomination.

Trump went on to tell CBS he does not condone acts of violence toward minorities and Muslims.

“I am so saddened to hear that. And I say, ‘Stop it.’ If it — if it helps,” he said.
