Maine Governor Calls Proposed Time Zone Change ‘Insane’

The state Legislature in Maine has given preliminary approval to a bill that would make the Atlantic time zone (which includes the Maritime provinces of Canada) the time zone of Maine, if Massachusetts and New Hampshire agree to it. Maine Governor Paul LePage, a Republican, says he’ll veto the bill.
