New Hampshire City Flies Rainbow Flag at City Hall for First Time

The city of Manchester, New Hampshire is flying the rainbow flag outside city hall for the first time, to commemorate so-called “Pride Month,” which honors homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgender people.

A male couple who own a restaurant in Manchester were shocked not to see rainbow flags after moving from Boston, where, one noted to The Union Leader, they are “everywhere.”

The lights above Manchester City Hall will shine rainbow colors for the rest of June, said Manchester’s mayor, Joyce Craig, according to The Union Leader.
