New Hampshire Senate Passes Bill Defining Fetus As Person

If it becomes law, the bill would define an unborn child as a person, which would allow prosecutors to pursue a homicide charge if an unborn child wrongfully dies in an assault. The bill would not affect intentional abortion, but opponents suspect it’s a means of undermining the legal status of abortion.
