Patriots Fan Who Protested Anthem Kneeling Wins Again; One Citation Left

A New England Patriots fan from Swansea who protested against football players kneeling during the national anthem on September 28 by burning a Patriots jersey outside his home and inviting people to watch has gotten three of the four citations issued by the local fire chief against him tossed. He is asking a Superior Court judge to toss the one remaining citation on First Amendment grounds, which may set up a conflict between free speech and the state’s fire code.
