Reunion of Lost Quabbin Reservoir Town Draws Long-Ago Inhabitants

The town of Dana was one of four central Massachusetts towns forcibly disincorporated and abandoned when the state government created the Quabbin Reservoir to provide drinking water to much of the state. Four former residents of the town and their loved ones gathered on the site of the town (which isn’t below water, unlike the other three disincorporated towns) and recalled what it was like to grow up there.
