Vermont: Up the Ante on Bootlegged Liquor from New Hampshire

New Hampshire doesn’t charge excise tax on liquor, and Vermont officials have recently caught two major shipments bound for Chinese restaurants in New York. Vermont officials want to increase the fine from the current $1,000 to $5,000.
