White Women’s Cooking ‘Flavorless,’ Latino Student’s Says in School Assembly Poem

The student recited a poem at a school assembly during a Latino Heritage Month event at Holyoke High School that led some white students to leave the auditorium. Later, a list of the students who left was circulated, but school officials say it wasn’t meant to lead to violence.
