Angus West
I was born in Boston and grew up on the North Shore. I recently returned after studying for an undergraduate degree in International Relations at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Since then, I’ve done freelance work, including reporting from the 2014 Winter Olympics in So-chi, Russia, and taken journalism classes at the Harvard Extension School. While I lived abroad I was able to travel, helping me better understand America’s role in international affairs and wit-ness firsthand how American culture differs from what is found in other parts of the world. The New Boston Post’s approach to the news informs readers as a force of positive change in local politics. Boston’s rich history, modern conveniences, and global outlook make it an interesting city from this perspective, and one I am excited to report on.
