Don’t Talk About Prayer or You’re Fired (P.S.: We’re At War)

Keeping a colleague in your prayers?  Fine.  TELLING them you’re praying for them?  FIRED.

Let me give you some context before I rip these idiots to shreds.

A high school worker in Augusta, Maine was told to stop using religious phrases like “you were in my prayers” and “I will pray for you” – even in private conversations with coworkers.

Here’s the deal.  Toni Richardson fell under “school investigation” after they said she “imposed some strong religious / spiritual believe system” towards a coworker.  What did she do that was so terrible?

According to an official memo from the school, in 2016 she told a colleague who had been having a difficult time adjusting to his new job that she would pray for him.

Months later, they had a falling out, and so the colleague complained.

Of course.  Because these triggered, overgrown toddlers don’t know how to conduct themselves in the working world … they have to whine, cry and stomp their feet until someone loses their job.

The district sent Richardson what they referred to as a coaching memo, letting her know that under NO circumstances – even if the other person goes to the same church – is she allowed to use words even as simple as “blessing.”

“In the context of the ‘separation of church and state,’ this case prohibits public school-sponsored religious expression,” the memo read. “Therefore, in the future, it is imperative that you do not use phrases that integrate public and private belief systems when in the public schools.”

She was told that if she ever again made any “reference to your spiritual or religious beliefs,” that she’d face disciplinary action or dismissal.

The woman contacted First Liberty Institute, a religious liberty law firm that now has her back.  They’ve filed a formal complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Time to call this what it is.

Had this woman been Muslim … and someone complained that she said she’d pray to Allah for them … the person who FILED the complaint would be fired.

Why?

Because liberals don’t believe in freedom of speech.  They believe in you having the freedom to say what they agree with.

And if they DON’T agree with it?

They will do everything in their power to shut you down.  They will call for your job.  They will go after your relationships with your family.  Your friends.  They will seek to crush you and everything you touch in life.

They are loving.  They are tolerant.  They embrace everyone.  As long as you’re gender-neutral, non-binary, not-Christian-or-Jewish lifestyle is one they agree with.

Conservatives need to wrap their heads around one important thing that liberals already get.

We are at war here in America – a war in which bullets aren’t being fired.

The only question is whether Conservatives are going to realize it soon enough to start fighting back … before it’s too late.
