Are you planning on heading into Boston for this year’s July 3 and 4 celebration on the Esplanade? From access points to boating guidelines, prohibited items and more, here’s everything you need to know courtesy of the Massachusetts State Police.

One change this year will be that is illegal to operate any unmanned aircraft (Drones, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Unmaned Aircraft System) in and around the Boston Esplanade during July 3-4. Anyone operating one would be doing so illegally and could face federal and state charges.
