According to a recent poll released by the Emerson College Polling Society, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has what he would call a “yuge” lead over his GOP rivals in Massachusetts.

The Emerson poll shows that when Bay Staters vote on Super Tuesday (March 1), approximately half of those choosing the GOP ballot plan to vote for the real estate magnate.
Trump’s closest rival, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, is a distant second with 16 percent, followed by John Kasich at 13.
These numbers might not come as a complete surprise, perhaps, given the party affiliation — or lack thereof — among Massachusetts voters. According to Secretary of the State William Galvin’s office, there are more unenrolled voters in the Bay State than voters registered with any organized party.
The Emerson College Polling Society is also predicting another close Democratic primary, with both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders polling at 46 percent.
