The South Carolina Primary may be the next battle for Democratic presidential hopefuls, but Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders plans to make a stop in Massachusetts first.

Sanders will host a rally Monday evening at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where, according to the campaign, he will speak about his plans for making college tuition-free, campaign finance reform and combating climate change – three issues he’s repeatedly highlighted since announcing his candidacy.

Sanders on Saturday narrowly lost to his rival Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the Nevada Democratic Caucus. They face off again in six days, on Saturday in South Carolina. Massachusetts will vote along with a bundle of other states on March 1.

The rally will be held at the William D. Mullins Memorial Center with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.
