Trump takes Wisconsin in stunning blow to Clinton

Republican Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the state of Wisconsin Tuesday, acquiring another key state in his bid for the presidency.

Wisconsin has traditionally been a Democratic stronghold, with Republicans last winning the state in 1984.

Both candidates campaigned heavily in the state, with Trump attempting to appeal to voters by attacking Clinton on Obamacare and promising to help being manufacturing jobs back to the states and Clinton touting legislation she helped spearhead increasing dairy subsidies.

The Badger State’s 10 electoral votes were a critical win in Clinton’s hopes to reach 270.
