There she was, with much of the power of the Democratic National Committee in her hands, and seeing with her own eyes that Hillary Clinton was a weak, sick woman surrounded by incompetent sycophants mirroring her own lack of knowledge, judgment, and talent.

When Hillary collapsed on camera after a campaign event on September 11, 2016, and then waived off her obvious infirmity with vague implausibilities about some passing sickness, Donna Brazile, the interim party chairman, knew what she had to do:  Dump Hillary and replace her with Joe Biden.

Sexual assault is so awful that it ought to be treated as the crime that it is. That means it shouldn't be treated the same way Judge Wapner might have decided a small-claims dispute on The People's Court.

Yet that's what the Massachusetts Senate apparently wants on college campuses. This past week, the Senate breezily approved a bill (Senate Bill 2191) that provides a "preponderance of the evidence" standard for college tribunals adjudicating claims of sexual misconduct made by students.
