Republican In Firestorm For Ringing Salvation Army Bell

Dear Left Wing Grinches,
This is why we just can’t take you seriously.
You are an embarrassment to your country and, quite frankly, to your families.
You’ve attacked a man for doing what may be one of the most noble things in America – donating his time.
I’m talking about what’s happening to state Senator George Logan.
He’s a Republican from Ansonia, Connecticut, and he’s long been known for his charitable work.
So what is it that triggered the Godless left this time?
He rang a bell outside a Walmart in nearby Naugatuck for the Salvation Army, which is a Christian denomination that asks for donations to help poor people.
The gentle ringing of faith was enough to trigger the Freedom From Religion Foundation. If you’ve never heard of this organization, I’ll help you.
It presumably consists of sad souls who didn’t hear “I love you” from their parents growing up. Who ate glue sticks on the bus to school. Who weren’t told about God but were instead told about government handouts. Who stood at the urinals with their pants around their ankles to pee.
They were, you know … THOSE kids. Who grew up desperate for attention and then became petulant, overgrown toddlers with liberal arts degrees who have a list of accomplishments in life including “knitting vagina hats” and making “RESIST” signs.
Their organization of whining, entitled brats called on Senator Logan to keep up the separation between church and state. They object to his ringing the bell outside the big box store as a public official.
Logan was quoted in a local paper:
“I think it’s kind of sad to politicize charity work,” Logan said. “The Salvation Army is trying to raise money to provide food, clothing, and, in some cases, shelter for people.”
The paper pointed out that “in 2016, the Naugatuck Valley, which Logan represents, overwhelming went for Donald Trump, whose ‘We’re Saying Merry Christmas Again’ refrain resonated with many voters in the blue-collar region.”
But not the freedom-from-religion people, apparently.
Not that they’re alone. This group of overgrown toddlers isn’t the only triggered organization. Both the American Civil Liberties Union and GLAAD have clashed with the Salvation Army over LGBTQ issues, proving that stupidity and hypocrisy are perhaps more widespread than people like to acknowledge.
I’m sure they’d prefer he take a page out of Colin Kaepernick’s book. Whine and complain instead of trying to ACTUALLY volunteer and do good work in the community.
Another day … another group of hypocritical failures. Welcome to the new America, brought to you by modern-day liberalism.
Someone get me a glass of bourbon and a bell. I’ve got some ringing to do.
