Former New England Patriots left tackle Matt Light is running to be a member of the Foxborough School Committee.
The libertarian-minded independent is 43 years old and one of two challengers hoping to unseat a pair of incumbents. The four candidates in the race are: Light, current school committee members Robert Canfield and Brent Ruter, and challenger Joseph Pires.
