President Joe Biden brushed aside a pointed statement from Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey questioning his candidacy for re-election in the wake of his damaging debate performance.
Healey, a fellow Democrat, issued a written statement Friday, July 5 saying: "The best way forward right now is a decision for the president to make. Over the coming days, I urge him to listen to the American people and carefully evaluate whether he remains our best hope to defeat Donald Trump."
