Olympics vs. God — Wonder Who Will Win?

A drag show. A headless Marie Antoinette singing. A disturbing heavy metal song.
And oh yes, the dragsters parodying The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci.
Welcome to the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Shocking? Perhaps.
But if any of this is surprising … it shouldn’t be. This is what left-wingism demands of formerly mainstream mass-events – not tolerance of its destructive point of view, but destruction of yours.
The enemy isn’t just taste, or manners, or innocence, or decency, or political opponents, or culture, or even religion.
The enemy is God.
The organizers of the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics declared war on God.
History suggests that doesn’t go so well. But the cultural saboteurs probably don’t think much of history, either.
How do we know they declared war on God?
The parody of Jesus – which will not be described here – is the most obvious clue.
But there are others.
The idea that a menacing heavy metal performance is appropriate for what is supposed to be a celebration of sports and brotherhood – or whatever it is the “Olympic Movement” claims to be about – is another sign. Imagine children delighted by sprinting, or diving, or soccer, or handball, or pole vaulting, or archery, or even ping pong tuning in to see something designed to give them nightmares.
More obvious than that is the drag show. It’s now passé for men to dress up as women and sing and dance in risqué fashion in a nightclub. No — the best place to do that is somewhere lots of kids will see you.
Leave no child behind.
Speaking of children …
These are the sort of people who can celebrate the execution of a 37-year-old single mom whose worst offense was maxing out her credit cards.
That makes you wonder …
What would the punishment be for singing a religious song at the Olympics?
Say, something about missing your departed mother, and asking God if your family will be reunited in Heaven?
Something like Faith Hill, during the Closing Ceremony of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, singing “Will The Circle Be Unbroken?”
