270ToWin Projects Republicans Could Win Some Electoral Votes In New England In 2024

The 2024 presidential election is a long ways away, but there are many places where it seems likely that you can guess which party will win.

In some other places, however, that’s less clear.

As 270ToWin projects, the Democratic Party will likely win New England overall in the election. However, the web site puts New Hampshire and three out of Maine’s four electoral votes in the toss-up category. It projects that a Democrat will win Maine’s first district in the southern part of the state — but also says don’t rule out the possibility of a Republican winning the second district in central and northern Maine and the state at large.

The web site puts Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and Rhode Island on the board as safe Democratic states.
