82-Year-Old Waitress Retiring

Barbara Gouin, who has waited tables at Angie’s Food & Diner in Newburyport for 25 years, is retiring after this weekend.

The 82-year-old has a following.

“She’s a wonderful lady,” said one customer, Cheryl Waldron, according to the Newburyport Daily News. “Any time we walked in, we asked for her table and we ordered the same thing every time. She was always that stable, beautiful, happy face every time we walked in there.”
