Arlington Rainbow Commission Organizes Crosswalk Painting For Pride Month

June 6, 2023

The town of Arlington’s Rainbow Commission is painting crosswalks in celebration of Pride Month.

The painting is scheduled to take place, weather permitting, on three days in three locations in Arlington:  Arlington Center on Thursday, June 1; Arlington Heights on Monday, June 5; and East Arlington on Thursday, June 8.

Other Pride events being run by the town’s Rainbow Commission include an event on Saturday, June 17 called “Arlington LGBTQIA+ Pride!”

The advertisement for the event says it will allow people to “meet new friends, enjoy some treats, mingle, dance, karaoke, learn about the Rainbow Commission and other community groups, and pick up some Pride swag!”
