Back the Blue Rolling Rally in Western Massachusetts Draws Crowds

A rolling rally in support of police drew dozens of people to two towns in western Massachusetts.

Supporters held signs and flags during the Back the Blue event began in the town of Hampden (population abut 5,100) and ended in Wilbraham (population about 15,000), both east of Springfield.

Organizer Richard Howell told WWLP-TV Channel 22 in Springfield that of the events he has put together, the turnout Thursday, August 6 was one of the largest he has seen.
