Bernie Sanders Worried That Democrats Are Losing Working-Class Voters

Which political party is the party of the working class?

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) thinks that the Democratic Party is better for working people than the Republican Party. However, Sanders worries that his party is not doing enough to appeal to these voters.

“It pains me very, very much that we’re seeing more and more working-class people voting Republican,” Sanders recently told The Associated Press. “Politically, that is a disaster, and Democrats have to recognize that serious problem and address it.”

Sanders has not ruled out running for president in 2024, according to the report. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for president in 2016 and 2020.
