Dennis Selectmen Back Pro-Illegal Immigrant Measure

The petition warrant article asks voters at annual Town Meeting in the Cape Cod town to make it town policy not to use local resources to enforce federal immigration laws. The town’s police chief says his department already complies with it; the sponsors say the police can continue to comply with detainer requests from the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency even if the measure is approved.
