Eight Massachusetts High School Football Teams Crowned State Champs

Eight Massachusetts high school football were crowned state champions this past weekend.

Sixteen schools competed at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough in Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association football state championship games on Friday evening, December 2 and Saturday, December 3.

Here are the results of those respective games:

 

  • Division 1 — St. John’s Prep (Danvers) beat Springfield Central, 13-0.
  • Division 2 — Catholic Memorial beat King Philip (in Wrentham), 27-7.
  • Division 3 — Wakefield beat Milton, 34-28.
  • Division 4 — Duxbury beat Grafton, 42-7.
  • Division 5 — North Reading beat Shawsheen Valley Tech (in Billerica), 44-28.
  • Division 6 — St. Mary’s of Lynn beat Stoneham, 28-8. 
  • Division 7 — West Boylston beat St. Bernard’s (of Fitchburg), 29-6.
  • Division 8 — Hull beat KIPP Academy (of Lynn), 27-6.
