Elizabeth Warren Refuses To Weigh In On Nancy Pelosi Visit To Taiwan

August 4, 2022

What does U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Cambridge) think of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi traveling to Taiwan this week?

She’s not saying anything publicly about it. And when a Fox News reporter asked Warren if she had any thoughts on the trip, Warren responded:  “No.”

Her colleague U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) hasn’t addressed the matter, either.

“Sanders silently waved off Fox News Digital from the inside of an elevator when asked,” the Fox News report says.

It’s a different approach from the one U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia) took on the topic.

Manchin supports Pelosi’s trip.

“They are a freedom-loving country and we do an awfully lot of trade with them and we’ve been very supportive,” Manchin told Fox News. “I’ve been there. I think every senator and congressperson has been there, so I don’t know why people make such a big deal out of it.
