Elizabeth Warren: Replace ICE
July 1, 2018
U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren called for replacing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency during a rally against President Donald Trump’s immigration policy in Boston.
“We need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom, starting by replacing ICE with something that reflects our morality,” Warren said during the rally Saturday, according to MassLive.com.
Protesters chanted “Abolish ICE.” Disbanding the federal law enforcement agency has become a theme among left-wing Democrats within the last two weeks.
Illegal immigrants detained for deportation in Boston are held at South Bay House of Correction off Massachusetts Avenue in the South End.
Trump yesterday praised ICE agents and expressed support for the agency.
To the great and brave men and women of ICE, do not worry or lose your spirit. You are doing a fantastic job of keeping us safe by eradicating the worst criminal elements. So brave! The radical left Dems want you out. Next it will be all police. Zero chance, It will never happen!
