Five Cape Towns To Allow Recreational Marijuana Shops; Ten Say Nyet

Five of the 15 towns on Cape Cod plan to allow recreational marijuana stores now that it’s legal in Massachusetts.

Four are on the Outer Cape:  Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, and Eastham.

None are on the Mid-Cape.

The only one on the Upper Cape is Mashpee.

Saying no are Falmouth, Bourne, and Sandwich on the Upper Cape; Barnstable, Yarmouth, and Dennis on the Mid-Cape; and Brewster, Harwich, Chatham, and Orleans on the Lower Cape, according to The Cape Cod Times.
