Lawyer for Woman Who Stole Lucian Wintrich Speech Notes: ‘Justified’ Because of ‘Hate Speech’

Catherine Gregory, 33, an administrator at Quineyaug Community College, took the lecture notes of Lucian Wintrich off the lectern and tried to leave with them. She has been charged with sixth degree larceny and disturbing the peace, but says she has gotten support from all over the world; her lawyer calls Wintrich’s speech “fighting words.”
