Left-Leaning Framingham Mayor Supporting Neither Ed Markey Nor Joe III So Far

Framingham’s left-leaning mayor is so far refusing to endorse either Ed Markey or Joseph P. Kennedy III in the Massachusetts U.S. Senate Democratic primary.

Yvonne Spicer, who has endorsed the ROE Act abortion expansion bill, made raising the rainbow flag at city hall a priority, and has pushed for establishing a diversity czar, isn’t on the list of 20 Massachusetts mayors who recently endorsed Markey.

Spicer declined to say which candidate she’d support when contacted by The Metrowest Daily News on Friday, January 31.
