Mother Bagged for Leaving Kids in Car At Supermarket

A 32-year-old mother left her 5-year-old and 2-year-old children in an unlocked car in the parking lot of a Market Basket for about 20 minutes while she shopped, police said.

Police in Plaistow, New Hampshire arrested the woman and charged her with endangering the welfare of a child, according to The Union Leader.

“Anything could happen. I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a 5-year-old that you could leave alone. At that age anyone could snatch them,” Plaistow Police Captain Brett Morgan told The Union Leader.
