New Hampshire Seeing Record Number of Coronavirus Cases

November 26, 2021

More people than ever are getting coronavirus in New Hampshire, according to the state’s latest data.

There are more than 8,000 active cases of the virus in the state — more than there had ever been before. On Tuesday, November 23, there were 1,011 new positive tests for the virus in the state; it marked the sixth time in eight days that there were more than 1,000 reported cases of the virus in the state, according to WMUR. Additionally, the state was dealing with a record number of hospitalizations for the virus:  367.

With temperatures dropping and many people travelling for Thanksgiving, some experts say cases may increase in the coming weeks, as well.
