New Hampshire To Set 2024 Presidential Primary Date This Week

We will soon know when the 2024 New Hampshire presidential primary is supposed to take place.
New Hampshire Secretary of State Dave Scanlan said that he will announce the New Hampshire primary date at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, according to the Union Leader.
New Hampshire has the first primary in the country, though the Iowa Caucuses typically occur before it. The Republican caucuses in Iowa are scheduled for Monday, January 15, 2024.
Former President Donald Trump is the front-runner on the Republican side, while current President Joe Biden will not appear on the Democratic ballot.
Biden has decided he wants South Carolina to be the Democratic Party’s first primary. The Democratic primary in South Carolina is scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2024.
The Democratic Party in Iowa is planning to hold caucuses on January 15, 2024, the same day as the Republicans, but the Democrats do not plan to release the results of mail-in balloting in Iowa until early March 2024.
In New Hampshire, the Republican primary and Democratic primary are expected to occur the same day.
While Biden is not appearing on the ballot in New Hampshire, there will be a write-in campaign for Biden there.
