New Hampshire Woman Gives Birth At 57

A new record was set in New Hampshire by someone who had previously set a record in the state.

A 57-year-old woman named Barbara Higgins, a Concord resident, became the oldest woman on record in the state to give birth.

It’s not the first record she set in the state either. About 40 years prior, she became the first female athlete to run a mile in less than five minutes in the state. She did so when she was a student at Concord High School. as CBS 47 reports.

Higgins is the younger of the two in the relationship. Her husband, Ken Banzhoff, is 65 years old.
