One-Sixth of Democratic Primary Voters Support RFK Jr., Poll Shows
June 5, 2023
Environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has some backing in the Democratic presidential primary.
Kennedy received 16 percent support in the latest Fox News Democratic primary poll; that put him in a distant second place behind President Joe Biden, who had 62 percent in the poll. That’s a 46-point difference.
Kennedy’s 16 percent mark was better than the 8 percent support that spiritual psychotherapist Marianne Williamson received in the poll.
Kennedy and Biden announced their 2024 campaigns last month, while Williamson announced hers in March.
Kennedy and Williamson have never held elected office.
An NBC News poll from mid-April 2023 found that 70 percent of Americans don’t want Biden to run for re-election in 2024.
