Republican Congressional Candidate John Paul Moran Signs Term Limits Pledge

July 2, 2020

If elected to the U.S. House of Representatives this November, Republican John Paul Moran says he won’t be there forever.

Instead, Moran, who is running in Massachusetts’s Sixth District in hopes of unseating U.S. Representative Seth Moulton (D-Salem), signed a pledge from U.S. Term Limits this week stating that if elected, he would serve no more than three terms in the House of Representatives, according to a press release from Moran’s campaign.

“For too long, career politicians have given false promises,” Moran’s media relations director Charles V. Grillo Jr. said in a statement. “In order to instill real change in our government, term limits is a must.”

Moran hopes to be the first Massachusetts Republican elected to the U.S. House of Representatives since 1994.
