February 24, 2020

Patricia Saint Aubin is seeking her third term as a Massachusetts Republican State Committeewoman, and she has the backing of Taunton’s new mayor.

Saint Aubin, of Norfolk, is running to represent the Norfolk, Bristol, & Middlesex Senate District. She has gotten the backing of former state representative Shauna O’Connell, a Republican who is now the first woman mayor of Taunton. O’Connell was elected mayor in November 2019.

“As MassGOP Budget Chair, Patricia has streamlined expenses to provide candidates like me more donation monies,” O’Connell said in a press release.

“ I urge you to re-elect a hard-working campaigner like Patricia Saint Aubin to a third term as your Republican State Committeewoman,” O’Connell added.

The 11-town district Saint Aubin is running to represent does not include Taunton. However, it does include Attleboro, North Attleborough, Plainville, Wrentham, Norfolk, Franklin, Millis, Sherborn, Natick, Wellesley, Needham, and Wayland.

First elected to the State Committee in 2012, Saint Aubin was the Republican Party’s nominee for Auditor in 2014. In the 2014 election, she received an endorsement from The Boston Globe.
