January 17, 2023

Three politicians from Massachusetts are attending the 2023 World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland this week.

Scott Miller, the U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein and a Colorado resident, is leading the U.S. delegation at the meeting, which runs from Monday, January 16, to Friday, January 20, according to USEmbassy.gov.

Eighteen other American politicians will join him, including three from Massachusetts. The Massachusetts politicians are:  U.S. Climate Envoy John Kerry, U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, and U.S. Representative Seth Moulton (D-Salem).

The organization tries to influence political decision-making in countries across the world.

Its web site says that it is dedicated to “improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.”
