Tiny Homes Movement Runs Into State Building Code

Tiny homes are roughly 200 square feet and have no connection to sewer, water, or electricity, instead designed with a composting toilet and rain barrels to provide water. Some people want to live in them because they cost less than $25,000 and can be put in someone else’s back yard; but the state building code in Massachusetts doesn’t allow them.
