Tom Brady Calls Dying Cancer Patient

An 18-year-old Ashland man dying of bone cancer who has meeting Tom Brady on his bucket list got a voice mail message from him.

Jake Silver also wanted to go to the Super Bowl, and he and family members made the trip to Atlanta thanks to donations. But he couldn’t go to the game this past Sunday because he ended up in the hospital in intensive care, according to the MetroWest Daily News.

Silver was diagnosed with bone cancer in May 2016. Doctors say he has a few months to live.
