Tulsi Gabbard To Campaign in Maine This Weekend

February 13, 2020

U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard is still running for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, and she will continue campaigning in New England.

This weekend, she has two campaign events scheduled in Maine, which votes on Super Tuesday in March.

According to her campaign’s events web site, Gabbard plans to do a town hall event at the University of Southern Maine in Portland from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15. She also plans to take part in a town hall event at the Maple Farm Inn in Hallowell, Maine from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, February 16.

Gabbard, a Democrat from Hawaii, got 3.3 percent of the vote in the New Hampshire primary, a state she campaigned heavily in, especially after moving there in December 2019.

Lower-tier finishers Andrew Yang, Michael Bennet, and Deval Patrick dropped out following the New Hampshire primary, but Gabbard is still in the race.
