Two New Hampshire Communities Return To Indoor Mask Mandates

October 26, 2021

A pair of New Hampshire towns are bringing back indoor mask mandates.

Berlin, New Hampshire and Gorham, New Hampshire enacted indoor mask mandates on Monday night; in Berlin, the city council approved the mandate, and in Gorham, it was the board of selectmen.

Both orders are temporary. The Berlin order will last for at least 30 days whereas the Gorham order will last for at least two weeks.

It’s unlcear if the communities will put in place a permanent order after these mandates end.

The mandates come as coronavirus cases have been on the rise in these two communities, according to WMUR.
