Two Stints As Brockton GOP Chairman, With Prison In Between

The food and dental care are terrible in federal prison and the system that puts people there is harsh, says 66-year-old Lawrence Novak of Brockton, but the health care is good and he was treated all right by other inmates and by guards. Novak is the former and current chairman of the Brockton Republican City Committee, a position he resumed in April 2017 after spending 2009 to late 2015 in prison for money laundering.
