UConn Men’s Basketball Makes The Elite Eight

The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team has made it to the Elite Eight.

UConn, a 4 seed, is the only New England team to make it this far in the NCAA Division 1 men’s basketball postseason tournament known as March Madness.

The UConn Huskies trounced the Arkansas Razorbacks 88-65 in the Sweet 16 on Thursday, March 23, advancing to the next round. With the win, UConn improved to 28-8 on the season.

UConn will face 3 seed Gonzaga in the Elite Eight on Saturday, March 25 (8:49 p.m. start time), according to KREM.
