Vermont Says Anyone Who Wants Coronavirus Test Can Have One

May 15, 2020

In Vermont, anyone who wants to get a coronavirus test will be able to have that opportunity — even if they do not have any symptoms.

As NBC 5 Burlington reports, Vermont will begin opening up pop-up clinics across the state. The measure will take place in hopes of preventing the spread of the virus.

The state’s health commissioner Dr. Mark Levine told NBC 5 Burlington that there are enough supplies in Vermont for this to work.

“We know that people who have no symptoms, but are going to develop COVID have at least a 48-hour period where they may be pre-symptomatic and capable of infecting someone,” Levine told the station recently. “So it would be nice to find them ahead of time.”
